Fashion jewellery is delicate by nature and should be handled with care. Proper usage and storage can help maintain its appearance for longer.

1. Keep Away from Water and Moisture

To protect the finish and overall appearance of your jewellery, avoid contact with:

  • sweat

  • rain

  • steam

  • humidity

  • moisture

Jewellery should be removed before bathing, swimming, washing, exercising, or any activity involving water or perspiration.

2. Avoid Contact with Perfume and Chemicals

For best care, keep your jewellery away from:

  • perfumes

  • deodorants

  • lotions

  • creams

  • hairsprays

  • sanitizers

  • soaps

  • detergents

  • cleaning products

  • any harsh or chemical-based substance

Customers are advised to wear jewellery only after applying makeup, perfume, skincare, or grooming products.

3. Store Jewellery Properly

To maintain shine and reduce the risk of scratches, fading, or tangling:

  • store each piece separately

  • keep jewellery in a soft pouch, zip pouch, or jewellery box

  • avoid mixing multiple items together

  • store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity

Improper storage may affect the finish and condition of the product over time.

4. Remove Before Physical Activity

Jewellery should be removed before:

  • sleeping

  • travelling

  • gym or workout

  • household chores

  • lifting heavy items

  • any activity involving pressure, friction, or impact

Accidental pulling, bending, pressure, or dropping may damage delicate jewellery parts including clasps, hooks, chains, or decorative elements.

5. Clean Only with Gentle Care

After use, jewellery may be gently wiped with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, oil, or moisture.

Please do not:

  • scrub the jewellery

  • use rough cloth

  • use polish liquids

  • soak in water

  • use chemical cleaners

  • use abrasive materials

To avoid damage, customers should avoid:

7. Normal Wear Over Time

  • pressure, friction, or impact

  • failure to follow care instructions

9. Important Product Care Disclaimer

All Vanishq products are intended for careful personal use.
As fashion jewellery is delicate in nature, product life and finish may vary based on usage, environment, body chemistry, and care practices.

Accordingly:

  • normal wear and tear is not a defect

  • minor finish variation over time is not a defect

  • tarnish, fading, dullness, or plating wear caused by usage conditions is not a defect

  • breakage caused after delivery due to mishandling or external impact is not a defect

  • damage resulting from water, perfume, sweat, chemicals, or improper storage is not covered as a manufacturing defect

Any return, exchange, replacement, or refund request relating to product condition shall remain subject to Vanishq’s applicable Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and internal verification.
